I must be more famous than I thought

For all SIX of you who read my blog, you might be familiar with the post where I ranted about my 10 year old (dark skinned) son being allowed to walk home from school without permission last September. If you remember that, you no doubt remember the colorful language I used to describe the principal, and that I felt that the school district was racist since my dark skinned son was always at fault, no matter what he did or didn’t do, or what was done to him. Teased in class? Joshua’s fault – he’s suspended! He gets tormented day after day after day on the school bus? It’s Joshua’s fault – he’s suspended! The teacher who tutored him during his repeated suspensions told me that she’d never seen children suspended in that school as much as my son – AND the only other dark skinned child in his class.

But that school isn’t racist. Right. (If it smells like a duck…)

Anyhoo – I’ve been ordered to cease & desist calling the principal names, by people with a lot of letters after their names. The poor dear. So I’ve amended that post to remove all identifying information. I’m sure it won’t be enough for them. But then, I’ve got lawyers too. And there’s the ACLU. NAACP. The President of the United States (after all, if he had a son, his son would look like my son…)

So – for all you racists out there – thanks for reading this!
