Thank God it’s Friday!

OK – so, my short story is now “live” and can be found (to be purchased in mass quantities hopefully) at: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004NIFWPI

Just a little info on it – the story is set in 1852 Texas. Tommy Silverlake, a 15 year old boy, has to ride out with his father, the town sheriff, because no man would go with him to arrest Lester Beck for murder. (Lester is just that big & scary) What happens then leaves Tommy needing to learn how to negotiate that broad and rocky road between boyhood and manhood. And he’s better at it than he wants to be.

  1. Congratulations, Mel, on your publishing venture. It’s exciting to see your story up and available. I just hope this is the first of many stories you will publish. Stories. Novels. Novels in which all of the characters live long and happy lives…. You have a great voice and a great imagination, and I love your original stories and characters. So get them done and published already!
